The present global village concept has disturbed the lives of man in different ways. The result is the fast and stressful  life-style. However we have to live with it. Yet finding a way out to keep our mind in a poise is necessary to our healthy and wholesome life. Hence the above samithi has initiated a "Om Namah Shivaya" Panchakshari Lekhana, involving mind body and devotion all in one. 60,000  people are involved in this community welfare program. It is our aim to rekindle the undercurrent of the devotion latent in all of us resulting in love towards our fellow humans. All those who seek solace are welcome to join in this effort.

The "MAHA YAJNA" will be held from 1-11-06 to 12-11-06 in Shankara Mutt, Bangalore. In these days there will be Sahasra Santarpana at Kashi and other 11 holly places. This Sahasra Santarpana will be carried out for 11 days only with the divine help of devotees. So kindly collect the contribution of Rs. 330 which will feed 11 people once and which will give you food for another 11 generations. The contribution should reach us before 15th august 2006 to the following address, through DD or Money Order in favor of "MAHAMANGALA SAMITHI " 2006.

Sri Siddhipradha Vidyaganapathi-Kashi  Visweswara - Annapoorneswari - Subramanya Temple, constructed in the year 1990 is engaged in Dharmic-Social-Educational-Musical-Community activities ever since.

Activities are inclusive of all  the occasion of annual celebrations. The aim being complete and wholesome development of the community, which is called as yajna suggestive of this inclusive aspect of total human development.

Along with Vishnu Sahasra Nama Yajna, Sri Vidya Ganapathi Prakashana was founded in the year 1990 to bring out precious heritage books about Indian values of life in Kannada at subsidised prices. So far, Rs. 50 lakh worth of books have been published. Monthly music concerts are also conducted.

• 1999 - 2000   Vishnu Sahasranama Parayana

• 2001 - 2002   Chandi Homa

• 2002 - 2003   Est. of Pranava Sangeeta Sabha and installation of Thyagaraja and Purandara Idols

• 2002 - 2003   Sangeeta Utsava by leading musicians of Bangalore

• 2003 - 2004   11 crore "Om Namah Shivaya" Lekhana Maha Mangala

• 2005 march   Mass feeding of 12,000  people.

• Current Programme - 121 crore Shiva Panchakshari lekhana Yagna involving more than 60,000 people from 1-9-2004 to 31-1-2006 open for all.
