With the latest and perhaps the media with the highest possibilities, Internet, appearing
on the scene in India in the latter part of the '90's (1996-97, to be precise), we (myself
and my brother) joined the bandwagon like many in 'doing something different'. |

But a pause and review later, we decided that the subject of 'Indian Culture', nearer
to the hearts of both of us, could be put on the web in all its splendour which would
enable the vast majority of this world, looking for such information, to know more
about the rich Culture of this Great Land that has an unparalled history of
more than 5,000 years. |

Having decided what to do, how was the next question. Again, many deliberations later,
we decided on the topics and layout design which you see at present on the web to be apt
for depicting the Culture of this land under certain specific heads. |

Novices that we are in knowledge about the various topics we seeked to highlight, we have
