Cultural India
Foundation (regd.) is a public charitable trust founded by Sri
Dileep Bellave K. to propagate ancient Indian Culture in a scientific
way using the latest technologies, among the youth and help revive the
ancient, vibrant Indian culture, by promoting study of ancient,
historical works representing the Indian Culture enriched with
“Universal Values” for the Mankind. |

Aims & Objectives |
|
|
|
i) The objective of the Trust is to
propagate the INDIAN CULTURE in a scientific way using the latest
technologies, among the youth and help revive the ancient, vibrant
Indian culture.
ii) To establish institutions for imparting education in all disciplines
for all age groups at all levels beneficial to mankind.
iii) To institute scholarships and fellowships, in the name of the Trust
who have contributed immensely for the growth and propagation of Indian
Culture.
iv) To provide facilities and opportunities for research in every
discipline and all sphere useful and resulting in benefit to mankind.
v) To create facilities for co-ordination, collaboration with other
institution, funds, Trusts, bodies or authorities constituted or founded
for purposes similar to this Trust.
vi) To publish and publicize, in all languages, books, papers, materials
in order to promote knowledge, discipline, Science and Technology,
Vedas, Upanishads, all kinds of literature beneficial to mankind etc.
ix) To host and maintain a website in the name of the trust to propagate
Indian Culture.
x) To conduct Quiz programs, Workshops, Events propagating Indian
Culture with ‘universal values’
xi) To maintain ancient and historical content related to ‘Arts,
Literature, Music, Philosophy, Spirituality’ in Indian Culture
xii) To conduct
research related to Indian ancient Scriptures and publish and try
retaining them using the best possible technology and archival methods; |

First of its kind ever, Cultural India’s Gita Dyuti 2009, a
Bhagavadgita Prashnottara Maalika (Quiz) programme was held for
1,500 high school students from 43 schools all over Bangalore.
Gita Dyuti 2009 - Bhagavadgita Prashnottara Maalika - Quiz
programme consisting of 2 written rounds and 2 Oral Quiz rounds
(Semifinals & Finals) was launched on Sunday, 2nd August 2009
with a unique “Gita Yatra” from ISKCON, Bangalore to Sri Vani
Vidya Kendra, Rajajinagar 2nd Stage. 80 students from 6 schools
took part in a pada yatra for 1.5 kms chanting 12th Chapter,
“Bhakti Yoga” of Bhagavad Gita. The event was inaugurated by Dr.
Shatavadhani R. Ganesh at Sri Vani Education Centre, Rajajinagar
II Stage, Bangalore.
GRAND FINALE: was held on 13th September 2009 at Ragigudda
Temple, Jayanagar 9th Block, Bangalore. Sri Dileep Bellave, the
host and His Holiness Sri Sri Gangadharendra Saraswati Swamiji
of Swarnavalli Mutt, Sirsi asked questions to 24 students
declaring Poornaprajna Sadashivanagar Students as winners and
giving Rs. 30,000 cash awards to 12 students from top 3 schools.
A unique book “Gita Dyuti”, consisting of Slokas and meaning of
Bhagavadgita was released by the managing director of
Ramanashree Hotels and Resorts, Sri S. Shadakshari, who is also
a well know scholar and a spiritual columnist.

Inaugurated by His Holiness Sri Sri Lakshmi Vara Teertha Swamiji
of Paryaya Shiroor Sri Krishna Math, Udupi, in the divine
presence of Lord Sri Krishna, Udupi, “Gita Dyuti 2010” received
tremendous response with 8,000 students from 124 schools from 15
districts all over Karnataka registering and participating in
this State level Bhagavadgita Quiz Contest for High School
students all over Karnataka.
On this occasion, all the 8,000 students were given a unique
Bhagavadgita book “Gita Dyuti” having Slokas, mean-ing and
unique exercises at the end of each chapter. 2 written rounds of
quiz were conducted in their respective schools. Quarter Finals
for top 54 schools was conducted in 7 districts all over
Karnataka and Semi Finals for top 18 schools, in Bangalore.
In the finals conducted on 13th November 2010 at the
Poornaprajna Vidya-peetha, Katriguppe Circle, Bangalore, Sri Sri
Gangadharendra Saraswathi Swamiji of Swarnavalli Mutt, asked
questions to 18 students from 6 schools qualified from Semi
Finals and also explained the importance of studying and
understanding the essence of Bhagavadgita.
He also released a Souvenir “Gita Pradeepa” having articles of
famous and revered scholars.

Mysore Dasara in 1998 - online

Cultural Quiz for
School Children in 2001 |

Hosted the world famous Mysore Dasara on the Internet for the
1st time. Apart from giving details of the famous artists from
both music and literature, lived during Wodeyar's times and
origin of dasara celebrations, hosted rare photographs of the
Dasara celebrations during the Wodeyars' times, details of
Dasara programmes during 1998 and a unique Dasara Quiz on the
Internet. Received very good response for the quiz from all over
globe and a student from Mumbai won the quiz and prizes. |
Conducted Cultural Quiz with questions related to Karnataka and
its vibrant culture and the contributions of kings and saints
and gave away cash awards to the students. This quiz was
conducted at Sri Vani Education Centre, Rajajinagar, (presided
by Sangitha Kalanidhi Dr. R.K. Srikantan); Sri Vani Education
Centre, Basaveshwaranagar; National High School, Basavanagudi;
Kairali School, HAL II Stage. |
